About Us

Welcome to the home of Kali Helmets NZ.

We have been distributing Kali Helmets in New Zealand for 10 years.

Based in Auckland, we supply Kali Helmets to independent retail shops right across New Zealand. Our big goal is to offer safer, better-quality helmets to a new generation of riders who are more focussed on protection as well as style and functionality.

We decided to import and distribute Kali Helmets after meeting Brad Waldron (Kali co-founder) and realising that his passion for head safety matched ours. Brad is an industry leader and loves pushing the boundaries in development of new technology and working tirelessly to improve helmet safety. We have built a strong relationship with the Kali team and are very proud to represent Kali in New Zealand.

Why Buy a Kali Helmet?

Safety

Kali was born with a breakthrough in safety technology – Composite Fusion, a process which bonds the helmet shell and foam enabling Kali to use a thinner shell, creating a lighter stronger helmet with less mass attached to your head.

Kali has since developed additional technology including the addition of multi layers of cone shaped foam to dissipate linear impacts and LDL a new technology developed to address rotational and low density impacts all housed within the helmet and without the need for a cradle.

LCR

Kali offers customers who have purchased and registered a Kali bicycle helmet a Limited Lifetime Crash Replacement (LCR) Policy. If you have a Kali bicycle helmet and experience a crash that results in damage to the helmet, you may file a claim to have your helmet replaced by Kali.

Passion

When you buy a Kali Helmet you are supporting a small independent company (not a corporate) lead by a man passionate about building the safest helmets possible across all price points so technological advancements reach everyone, not just those with a big bank balance. We are the underdogs, yet we are still here and continue to do what we believe in, we don’t have huge budgets and deep pockets, but we do have great values and genuinely care about head safety.

Doing our bit for the planet

Kali is making a real effort to use recycled materials and non-toxic finishes wherever possible and to that end to improving helmet manufacturing techniques.

The Kali range of E-Bike and Commuter helmets feature Recycled EPS foam, Unbleached pads, Straps made from recycled water bottles, No paints used on shell.
